EYES 6: Claude Faustus

I really did this for myself, 'cause I needed to make a study on Claude's eyes. But if it helped anyone, I'm glad i shared it!



1: Sketch
- Note how the eye's bottom line is slightly S-shaped

2: Make the lines thicker
- If they aren't already thick, like mine.

3: Add eyelids
- This step would usually say to add Eyelashes too, but Claude doesn't reallt have visible eyelashes. This makes his eyes more masculine and he looks older. I like to add eyelids for top AND bottom, and i do (what people apparently call) "double eyelids". It's really just wrinkles and it's your choice how you draw the eyelids.

4: Basic Colour

5: Shadows
- In SAI, Add those with the pen tool and smudge with the water tool.

6: In SAI, add those with the airbrush tool with the setting "Density: 50". This goes for both the yellow and the white shine. To the right you can see where I applied it.
